Hello Hulsey:

After reading 'This Blood Red Sea' which I enjoyed immensely I have ordered another of your books: 'The Eternal Chain' and look forward to its arrival here in California.

Order # 6056715

Keep up the exhaustive work. I continue to hope that you'll find a mainstream publisher in the near future.

Cyrano

Thanks Cyrano. It's been such a long time since I last spoke to you. This Blood Red Sea, I was slightly disappointed in, because Ron is 90 years old and his memory is not so good. The book for me was not long enough, but that was due to his fading memory. I compiled much of the book using his diary and extensive research. Biographies are not my thing, even though I have agreed to start writing a friends today. I will do so and continue to publish more of my novels. How are you, mate? Do you have a publisher? I do recall that you are a talented writer and will be surprised if you are not published. If so, I will search for your books. Anyway, thanks for buying my books. Hope you enjoy The Eternal Chain.

Hi Hulsey:

I'm using this thread as I do not wish to have that 25% disappear!

I have received the book: The Eternal Chain.

I'm into it and enjoying the story.

My question is this:

Why a Prologue? It doesn't detract but I wonder why you didn't simply use it as an integral part of the beginning: Maybe chapter one?

I ask as I'm always so indecisive myself about Prologue. Is it all a matter of personal choice or did you feel it had to have a Prologue?

Cy

To tell you the truth, Cyrano, I'm not sure why I have a prologue. It's just something I've always done, and to be honest, I've never before given any thought to it. A lot of people who have read and enjoyed the Eternal Chain in my local library and contacted me. Without trying to sound big-headed, I have several unpublished novels that are better, but I'm holding them back in the hope of picking up an agent or mainstream publisher. Even so, I will continue to self publish and this week have published Forever and Ever, a horror/thriller. Thanks for reading my book, Cyrano, and if there's anything you want me to read of yours, I'd be honoured.

Try selling on Amazon. My books are self-published. I cannot say it has been very successful on Amazon, but it has been a long time and the other day I was suprised to get an order. It is a nice idea that someone who I have never heard of is reading on of my books. It doesn't cost anything to sell it. You mail the book after Amazon tells you and they send you the address and you print the packing slip. They take the money, keep their percent and put the check in your bank. worth it. Keep looking up. Maureen

Three of my older books are on Amazon and one of my new ones. Selp publishing with Lulu takes about five weeks before they appear on Amazon and so they should start appearing soon. I was not aware that you could sell your books using your procedure, Maureen. Seems like a good idea.
