Alas, an electric sports car, the Tzero, built by AC Propulsion is powered by lithium-ion batteries that can be recharged in 3 hours. The car will go from 0 to 60 in 4 seconds and has a top speed of 150mph with a distance of 300 miles on a single charge.

Right now the price is $200,000, but if mass produced the price would drop to where it would be affordable by everyone. With recharging done with solar panels transportation would be virtually free. Alas, that's the problem. Free is a word that causes corporate heads to go spastic. Why create a free running car, affordable by everyone, when they can charge you for cars that run on gas or hydrogen, etc.?

You would think that our government would mandate all cars be electric by next year--if we are running out of oil as it claims. Either our 'leaders' are insane or they're lying to us.

Another interesting tidbit--

At present Harvard University has 35 billion dollars from endowments invested at 23%. In 20 years Harvard will have a net worth of 2.2 trillion dollars even if it receives no more endowments or tuition. In fact Harvard could give free education in perpetuity for all its students. So also Yale and Princeton and a dozen other elite universities.

These universities have garnered so much from endowments that they no longer need to charge students tuition--but greed being what it is, they continue doing so. Isn't it a shame? Harvard could educate for free 20,000 poor students every year, but won't.

NPR[National Public Radio] is another example of corporate greed. They have received enough endowments over the years to be able to offer free programing forever, but they are always asking for more and more. From one wealthy patron alone they received 200 million dollars, yet were asking for more from their listeners within weeks.

And to think how many corporations get hundreds of billions of dollars every year in subsidies yet continually raise their prices which the subsidies were supposed to reduce.

Gas and food will go through the roof--not because there's a shortage or a lack of solutions, but strictly because of the greed of the mega rich who continually want more and more.

More cynicism,

Chelsey Clinton is a hedge fund speculator. That means the Clinton's stand to make a fortune the higher gas and food climb.

And you thought Hillary really cared about you....
