STEPHANOPOULOS: But the question is: Do you think Senator Obama can do that? Can he win?
STEPHANOPOULOS: Senator Obama, do you think Senator Clinton can win?
GIBSON: Senator Obama, since you last debated, you made a significant speech in this building on the subject of race and your former pastor, the Reverend Jeremiah Wright…if you knew he got rough in sermons, why did it take you more than a year to publicly disassociate yourself from his remarks?
GIBSON: Senator Clinton…You have said that, "He would not have been my pastor…
Do you honestly believe that 8,000 people should have gotten up and walked out of that church?
STEPHANOPOULOS: Senator, two questions. Number one, do you think Reverend Wright loves America as much as you do? And, number two, if you get the nomination, what will you do when those sermons are played on television again and again and again?
STEPHANOPOULOS: Senator Clinton, we also did a poll today. And there's also questions about you raised in this poll. About six in 10 voters that we talk to say they don't believe you're honest and trustworthy. And we asked a lot of Pennsylvania voters for questions that they had. A lot them raised this honesty issue and your comments about being under sniper fire in Bosnia.
CLINTON: Well, Tom, I can tell you that I may be a lot of things. But I'm not dumb. And I wrote about going to Bosnia in my book in 2004. I laid it all out there. And you're right. On a couple of occasions in the last weeks, I just said some things that weren't in keeping with what I knew to be the case and what I had written about in my book.
And, you know, I'm embarrassed by it. I have apologized for it. I've said it was a mistake. And it is, I hope, something that you can look over because, clearly, I am proud that I went to Bosnia. It was a war zone. General Wesley Clark is here in the audience with me, as one of my major supporters. He and I were talking about it before I came out.
You know, our soldiers were there to try to police and keep the peace in a very dangerous area. They were totally in battle gear. There were concerns about potential dangers. The former president of Bosnia has said he was worried about the safety of the situation.
So, I know that it is something that some people have said wait a minute. What happened here? But I have talked about this and written about it. And then, unfortunately, in a few occasions, I was not as accurate as I have been in the past.
But I know, too, that being able to rely on my experience of having gone to Bosnia, gone to more than 80 countries, having represented the United States in so many different settings, gives me a tremendous advantage going into this campaign, particularly against Senator McCain.
NASH MCCABE, VOTER: Senator Obama, I have a question, and I want to know if you believe in the American flag. I am not questioning your patriotism, but all our servicemen, policemen and EMS wear the flag. I want to know why you don't.
GIBSON: Let me just add a little bit to that question, because your communications director of your campaign, Howard Wolfson, on a conference call recently was asked, is Senator Clinton going to stick to her announced plan of bringing one or two brigades out of Iraq every month, whatever the realities on the ground?

CLINTON: ….what I'm saying, Charlie, is that no one can predict what will happen. There are many different scenarios.
STEPHANOPOULOS: Senator Obama, your campaign has sent out a cascade of e-mails just about every day, questioning Senator Clinton's credibility. And you, yourself, said she hasn't been fully truthful about what she would do as president. Do you believe that Senator Clinton has been fully truthful about her past?
OBAMA: Well, look, I think that Senator Clinton has a strong record to run on. She wouldn't be here if she didn't.

Are these the questions Americans wanted asked--the burning issues of the day? [at least Hillary wasn't asked again if she preferred diamonds to pearls.]

What wasn't asked in this 90 mins. of inane BS were the following questions:

1. What are you going to do about our failing health care system?
2. What are you going to do about our failing educational system?
3. What are you going to do about NAFTA?
4. How are you going to end the war? [Barack wants to extend it to Afghanistan as if that will solve things. Hillary says she'll end it in 60 days--a complete lie]
5. How are you going to stop the out sourcing of jobs to foreign countries?
6. What is your solution to the invasion of our country by illegals?
7. How are you going to solve the energy crisis?
8. What are your plans for the environment?
9. Why are you not asking that Bush be impeached?
10, Why are you taking money from corporations that profiteer from the war? [Hillary-3.5 million; Barack-90,000]
11. Senator Obama you want to spend 800 billion dollars building up the infrastructure of other countries, shouldn't we be more concerned with building up our own failing economy before we worry about others?
12. How do you plan to restore confidence in the dollar and bring us out of the recession that Bush's inept policy helped create?

etc.
etc.

Erl, I heard today how much the combined amounts of money have been spent on the democrat's nomination saga. On every side, the amounts defy description. Oh, by the way, not one of them, democrat or republican, has even one answer to any of those questions.

Yes, Cyrano, it seems pointless to even vote. None of these candidates have any answers. Hillary and Barack squabble between themselves like children. And this is the best America can do?

It's all for the press, keeping people interested.

Neither one wants to commit themselves anymore than they have to. Instead, the try to get the other to make commitments they might not be able to keep.

Besides, it's cheap advertising, keeping their names in print. It saves money on newspaper and television ads.

Have you noticed that for the last few days, there has been an increase in Iran Bashing. I wonder if it has anything to do with General Patreaous, a Bush and Cheney construct, taking over the entire Near Eastern Command from Admiral Fallen, a thorn in Bush's side. Fallen would have objected to bombing Iran.

The Anonymouse Rat.

Yes, Rat, Bush fired every general who disagreed with his war and put Betrayus in command. Betrayus will do or say anything Bush wants in order to get that fifth star on his shoulder.

Barack wants to escalate the war in Afghanistan, and Hillary is threatening to nuke Iran if it nukes Israel. I guess she forgot that Iran doesn't have nukes.

John,'bomb-bomb-Iran',McCain, of course, wants perpetual war everywhere, and Bush is already claiming that N. Korea is supplying Syria with nuclear capability.

We are truly being led by madmen.

Are these the questions Americans wanted asked--the burning issues of the day? [at least Hillary wasn't asked again if she preferred diamonds to pearls.]

(My Response: ANSWER:)

What wasn't asked in this 90 mins. of inane BS were the following questions:

1. What are you going to do about our failing health care system?

Answer, nothing because its a corrupted industry and politicians are not interested in the people but money.

2. What are you going to do about our failing educational system?

ANSWER: The government wants illiterate people so they cannot be voted out of office and be nothing more than blinded cattle to the facts.

3. What are you going to do about NAFTA?

ANSWER: No comment

4. How are you going to end the war? [Barack wants to extend it to Afghanistan as if that will solve things. Hillary says
she'll end it in 60 days--a complete lie]

ANSWER: Do not end the war immediately, shift to afgahnistan, force UN to take over in IRAQ as peace keepers and force them to take the brint of responsibility and assist in getting them ready.

Afghanistan: Keep on Terrorists but threaten pakistan to either joint effort or we end up in your capital and on your doorstep to go in and get osama once and for all.

5. How are you going to stop the out sourcing of jobs to foreign countries?

ANSWER: Force corporations to bring the business home with good insentives or make requirements that at least a percentage of us citizens be a part of their workforce.

6. What is your solution to the invasion of our country by illegals?

Answer: Insentive work visa that would give access to american jobs with no healthcare but contributes to taxes. If they want to be citizens they can be given every opportunity... If not implant chip, end back and if cross illegally trheir head blows off.

7. How are you going to solve the energy crisis?

ANSWER: GET rid of cars and go to a better form of energy.

8. What are your plans for the environment?

ANSWER: Clean up and stop wastes, more recycling and better energy waste reduction, (nuclear) in the production and use of plutonium with no toxic side effects. OUTLAW products that would harm environment or make them completely bio degradeable.

9. Why are you not asking that Bush be impeached?

ANSWER: MORE LIKE have his ass killed. And take Clinton's scraggly ugly bitchy ass with him.

10, Why are you taking money from corporations that profiteer from the war? [Hillary-3.5 million; Barack-90,000]

ANSWER: GREED and POLITICAL FAVORS for companies if the candidates assist and do what they want they will support them. SEE Answer #5. it is one thing that needs to be stopped and bring work force home.

11. Senator Obama you want to spend 800 billion dollars building up the infrastructure of other countries, shouldn't we be more concerned with building up our own failing economy before we worry about others?

ANSWER: FOREIGN POLICY, not DOMESTIC POLICY it may or may not be under that catagory.

12. How do you plan to restore confidence in the dollar and bring us out of the recession that Bush's inept policy helped create?

ANSWER: BRING JOBS HOME, MORE JOBS...
More jobs = more TAX

BUT NOT RAISE TAXES. Keep them the same or lower...

etc.
etc.
