On Friday, George Bush told ABC News he personally approved of torture - including waterboarding - by Dick Cheney, Condoleeza Rice, Donald Rumsfeld, Colin Powell and George Tenet.

Torture is a capital offense for which we hanged Saddam--How come Americans aren't storming the castle and dragging the monster out?

White house press conference.

Reporter: Mr. President isn't it true that your reason for invading Iraq was because it had weapons of mass destruction which proved to be a lie?

George: No. It weren't no lie. I was misinformalized.

Reporter: Well, Mr President, according to the Downing Street Memos you were told by the CIA and the weapons inspectors that there were no WMD. You cherry picked the information and lied to Congress saying that Saddam posed an imminent threat. Yet there was no threat.

George: Well, we never went in Iraq because of WMD. We went in to free the Iraqi people from a cruel dictator.

Reporter: Then why after we got rid of Saddam are we still there?

George: Because of Al Qaeda--we had to fight those evil doing Al Qaeda.

Reporter: But there were no Al Qaeda in Iraq.

George: No matter, we're there to bring democracy to the people.

Reporter: Yet after 5 years all you've done is kill a million Iraqis and dispossess another 4 million. Once free, women are now forced to wear the burka and can no longer work in professional capacities as they did before we invaded Iraq. Besides 79% of the Iraqi s want us to get out of their country.

George: Can't. We can't leave now cause we'd lose face.....

Reporter: So what you're saying is that we invaded Iraq because we can't leave.

George: You got it. I don't see what the problem is.
