I think that is the definition of a bumpy road in 99.99% of the cases.

It can be smooth . . . for a while . . . but it will always get bumpy again. Getting three people to be in the same rhythm of life is a daunting task. Its hard enough for two.

Luckily, I have just had 'crushes' when involved with women, and I was able to recognize them for what they were. Usually I was the one that was left behind at breakup time.
