After the third bundle of joy your just so tired your brain jettisons all memories of your previously childless state. Sort of a self defense mechanism for the species. Other wise NONE would be quickly acclaimed as the perfect number . . . and we'd all be done for! Sextified ( it'd have to be sort of a trifecta long shot betting pool. Date, weight, sex. My driving instructor was shocked, since he thinks I am a good driver. The examiner said I didn't look right when I turned left, but I was sure I did. Anyway, he concluded I was dangerous. But he let me drive all the way back to the start point. So how dangerous could he really think I am?

He'd do things like say turn left there as we were half way across a junction, then ask why I didn't. I also had the test at chucking out time for the local primary school and he marked me down for driving too slowly down the road where the school was, where there are 5 year olds running across the road without looking, so like I was really going to do 30MPH. Anyway I let him get to me, so I guess I didn't drive as well as I should. Lesson learned. If someone is getting on your tits so much that you can't drive properly - pull over and ask them to leave the car. On my second test, I had the senior examiner in back testing the guy testing me. I was really happy, I knew I was going to get a totally fair test. I passed that one. Better luck next time. You probably had more important things on you mind than stupid driving examiners at the time. If I get my license first, it will be easy to change it to the new state. If I don't do it before we go, I have to start the whole process over. I was thinking to e-mail the homebirth midwife I used last time and tell her that I am pregnant but moving away in a month, but that if I need anything in this next month I'd like to know I can call her (ie. in a semi-emergency that isn't bad enough to go to the hospital but where I need help).
