While most of you know that for the past dozen or so, i was happy to take over the role of doing Author's interviews.
For the most part, it has been very rewarding getting the chance to read their interview first and convert it into HTML for Art to post. Due to personal circustances, last year was a wash out when it came to writing and doing interviews, i did send out a few requests, but never got a reply from potential candidates.
This year, i decided to add it to the many new years resolutions and try and keep on top of them, i'm hoping (candidates willing) to do a new interview every two months.
The downside to this is, i don't have the time to trawl numerous different stories to do research on who would be a potentially good candidate, so that is where....you....the readers can help.
I'm looking for suggestions of authors who you'd like to see interviewed. you can either post them here or send me an e-mail through the site.
if you are a writer and are interested in taking part then let me know.
The interview's give the reader a chance to understand an authors thinking and may help to answer questions that a particular story threw up for them, i personally know that, i now see certain Authors work in a different light after reading their interview.
While most people agree the authors interview is a beneficial part of understanding some of the stories, with most of the top authors already interviewed, without willing candidates to interview, then there won't be new interviews to read.
So get your thinking caps on, who's story really made you think? who would you like to see interviewed? and if you haven't had the chance, let me know...
P.s.....for those that are worried about the process, you are given a list of questions (via e-mail) that you can choose to answer or leave blank, the blank ones will be deleted from the final post, and it's simply a case of filling out the questions in your own time and sending it back when your happy with it....
So what are you waiting for?
and for those who asked why i haven't interviewed myself, it would look strange asking a question to myself, never fear, when i find someone to take the hot seat for one interview, i will also post mine too.....lol
So if you enjoy reading the interviews, please help and nominate your top authors.
Best wishes
Craig (Shuggie)

To Further elaborate on Art's comments....
for most who know me, my memory is terrible at times, and while on this forum, more often than not, i forget to sign in before posting on the forum.
After discussion with Art about lost e-mails, i didn't think anymore of it until i signed into this forum for the first time in over three months and....
I HAVE 4 UNREAD EMAILS......GRRRRR
For those who sent me an e-mail through the forum (you know who you are) Please accept my humblest apology on this matter. I am not in the habit of ignoring e-mails, and these were an oversight on my part.
Due to working commitments, i've had to pass the task of doing the interviews over to the Lovely Naughty Miranda.
As a form of apology to those e-mails, i have sent Miranda an e-mail with a copy of your e-mail attached. again my sincerest apologies.
I'd like to thank all the candidates who took part in the interview process, it was a great honour to get to read those interviews first. i only hope that the interviews and questions asked were informative for the readers.
should you have any suggestions about interviews feel free to E-mail Miranda.
Again, thanks for the loyal support during my time doing the interviews.
It was a real honour and privilege to take the hot seat for a while.
