It's just not for me. That said, I do think it's possible to be done well, but one would have to be an excellent writer. I'm not a fan of "cyber" stories anyway, that genre where people meet after conversing online. A lot of them seem contrived and not very realistic. Cyber, phone & messaging sex are one of the few places where language is directly used as a communicator of sexual activity and desires. To me it feels pregnant with erotic possibilities. Cyber sex requires the participants to draw pictures in words for the other user to appreciate. As a story telling method it may be more challenging than the standard 3rd person narrator but, handled well, could benefit from greater directness. _________________________ "poster child for the submissive"
